Dontay started his musical journey early singing Motown hits and writing songs with his siblings. That early curiosity led him to create many different genres of music and curated a wide pallet for sound. Dontay also studied at the Seattle Art Institute, but nods most of his musical background to living life and translating it through sound. While pursuing his own artistry, Don felt it was not enough to just write and record music. He then dove into engineering to upgrade his musical talent and provide his own vision in unison with others.
